Old country part 3: Edinburgh













- big, beautiful potential universities 
- I'm more scottish than anything.. why do I feel more at home in Ireland?
- green green hills and valleys 
- ghost tours galore
- robbiebobbie burns and brig a doon
- world cups and spanish crazies

Old country part 2: Tralee and Dingle (yes, seriously)











- meeting 5th cousins in a random fashion
- where the Dowd's originated and family business
- our castle for the eve along with plays, pups and donkeys
- dowds upon dowds upon dowds
- up in them there hills

Old country part 1: Dublin















- the friendliest/most intoxicated people I have ever encountered
- blood pudding, real blood
- salad = greasy veggies and a huge pint of cider yumbleh
- cobblestone streets and those who strum upon them
- flowers flowers everywhere

- sooo beautiful, warm and balmy 
- rocky pricey beaches but pools on topless roofs
- sunkissed shoulders bumped along the british boardwalks
- see food, sea food but lots of walnutty goodness for me
- unexpected monetary gains through illicit means
- tie dye skies and boat cruises

lyon (tres mal/tres chaud)








- missed hotels and no way to get in
- 30 degree weather with no air conditioning
- slumdog lyon
- roman ruins and sticky dates
- climbing mountains and scaling down them

caen (not cannes)










- juno beach (thnx socials 1-12)
- those fields where poppies grow
- conquerers and first tastes of castles
- appreciation that I didn't live 1914-1944
- handfuls of vagrants with grungy, teeth baring dogs
- hotels where I am the only human being without grey hair
- waiters trying to tell me bacon = walnuts.. nono monsoir you take your meatymeat back
- lovely little town, with too many kids and no where to go
